The results of efforts to turn the Center for Islamic Civilization, established in Tashkent on the initiative of the president of the republic, into not only a cultural and educational institution but also a rich scientific center are already visible,” the statement read.
The library is designed for 300 readers and can store up to 50,000 ancient manuscripts, as well as scientific, literary, historical, cultural, and educational works and rare publications. Its collection currently holds more than 35,000 items.
