The Center for the Development of National Content of Uzbekistan has launched Aura.uz, a media bank featuring video, photo, and infographic materials about the Central Asian republic. All files are freely and openly accessible.
As noted on the platform, the project aims to create a unified digital archive of media content about Uzbekistan, provide open and convenient access for internet users, strengthen information exchange with foreign media, and establish a single, reliable source of accurate materials about the country.
The system is currently in test mode, with content being added continuously, the project's authors caution via a ticker at the very top of the website's main page.
The platform operates in five languages: Uzbek; Russian; English; Arabic; Chinese.
All content is divided into 11 categories: foreign relations; education and science; healthcare; economy and industry; agriculture and ecology; culture, tourism and heritage; digital development and technology; infrastructure and construction; regional development; social sphere and civil society; and sports and youth policy.
Separate sections are devoted to the President of the Republic, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as materials on the theme «New Uzbekistan.»
According to the site's statistics, more than 14,000 files have already been uploaded, including about 9,700 videos and over 4,300 photos. As of this writing, the platform's counter shows 2,280 downloads from Aura.uz.
